Wednesday Supper ClubTwo hour evening workshop to relax, cook, eat or take home
These two hour evening workshops are a relaxed opportunity to improve your cookery skills and have something to eat with a glass of wine. Each week one dish will be demonstrated and then you will make it yourself. We will have a pud too; generally something I made earlier. Dishes will change each week and will cover a range of cuisines and food styles (meat, fish, vegetarian, Italian, Spanish, Thai, British, French, etc). Regular ‘clubbers’ are welcome to plan the following week with me – what would you like to learn?
Help to improve your knife and presentation skills and learn time-saving techniques too. These workshops need a minimum of 4 people to run, why not come with friends?
Perhaps most importantly, as well as learning new skills, you will have had some fun learning in a relaxed and supportive environment. During the course the emphasis is on using personal taste, judgement and technique rather than slavishly following a recipe. This approach means that one recipe may become two or three recipes.
Everyone has their own set of ingredients sharing only a 4 burner induction hob and standard size fan assisted oven with one other learner. We all work together at the same pace with each stage demonstrated before you do it yourself.
